... evening we had a super night with Cousin Dan and Sheila in their very nice village of Scotch Corner (I think a population of 350). After very sad good byes we are now back in Chamonix. It's always hard leaving Aunty Chris and Neville. Interesting for us, Chamonix felt like "coming home". We lingered in the grass for some time before we arose ...

The trip over was filled with the normal stresses of customs, an hour delay in our flight departure, a plane full of crying toddlers, a 2 hour layover and an hour drive. After the customary ...

Gorgeous Geneva

Today we decided to head into Geneva. It started as a cloudy morning, with the fog sitting heavy on the lake, but it was gradually 'burnt' off by the glorious sun. It was about 11 degrees today, which felt almost 'summery'. Some of those exercising along the Geneva promenade were wearing t-shirts. Daniel was convinced that Cadel Evans was doing laps of the lake. Those Genevois cyclists appear to be very well kitted out. First of all we indulged my request to visit the United ...
