We spent 10 days in Morzine staying at Chalet Kaila, learning how to cook, clean, and behave. Interesting experience. 150 people in the training group that will go on to staff, La Pagne, Les Gets, Alp du Hues, Morzine and Avoriaz. There are 10 chalets in Morzine and us up the hill. Literally 900m up and about 3 kms across. Pretty sanitised, and not somewhere for black humour or a wind up, although sometimes you just can't help yourself. Dinner in a lovely dining room, food pasta as usual. ...

... off the list- fondue. We found our way to the Museum Restaurant where we had two pots of cheese fondue with bread and potatoes. It was the perfect end to a perfect day. Another day where we got back to our digs after 9pm for a glass of wine before bed. I know it sounds tacky, but, I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to take this trip. To see such beautiful places as a family is a true gift. I feel like the richest person in the ...

... she and he have finally found a common ground; Saskia is a natural and will be a great little skier when she learns to stop; I am sure they will all be better skiers than me in ten year's time; Have I mentioned that this is a very beautiful part of the ...
