    ... Class, and it began to pay off immediately on arrival at the terminal. On making ourselves known at the dedicated Yacht Club check-in area, we were whisked away by a butler to a private lounge area where we were treated to drinks & nibbles while the staff processed our passports and paperwork.     ... and we were on the way. We pretty easily found the meeting point, they were just pulling back in after the last class. Our teachers were Jane from London and Sybille from munich- both who had traveled around in their younger days (they were about my age I think), met nice Venetian boys and married them. Cute!     Travel day today. Didn't stop Andrew taking dozens of photos I have to go through!! The scenery near the Austrian/ Italian border was amazing......tall rugged mountains topped with snow and rivers flowing with pale blue glacial water beside the road.     ... a bit of time here and then wander through the streets to the Ponte de Academia. This is an old wooden bridge that spans the Grand Canal and takes you to the Academia which at the moment has an exhibition of Leonardo da Vinci's original sketches.
