Back to the room for a break off my screaming feet, (his hurt too) and then back out to St Marks via vaporetto for some night pictures and dinner. Unfortunately, dinner was but a pipe dream, and even more unfortunately, I hold grudges. Crackers and pate for lunch at noon, rasinetts at 2pm doesn't cut it. So in a huff, I ate the Junior Mints before bedtime. Might have saved his ...

We literally ran after him, up steps and over bridges, knocking old ladies and almost stepping on the dying-swan beggars with their donation cups. It was really nerve wracking, but we admitted later that we wouldn't have found it without him and his 15 Euro 'fee' was cheaper than the water taxi. It soon became clear that we were lost. ...

Italy has dogs everywhere, and surprisingly the dog poo on the paths is at a minimum.    Kellie is so funny with the dogs. Nearly every dog that walks our way (most are on a leash) gets a reaction out of Kellie goes the way of oohing and aching at how cute the dog is (those of you that know Kellie well enough will know the reaction I'm talking about). ...

... a detailed guide, but threw in a few extras that I knew the girls would love. And here we are! We flew Air Berlin, an American Airlines partner, and the flight was outstanding. A little tv and a free meal and before you knew it, we'd touched down in Dusseldorf. A quick transfer to the flight to Venice (after originally going to the gate for Nice -- they must sound similar to a German), and we landed at Marco Polo airport on a cool, overcast day. We found the Alilaguna ...
