... was a real barg as it includes lunch (vegan option available!) as well as an afternoon snack and several teas/coffees/squashes. Also the non vegans got given mini cornetos too! The slightly annoying thing is that a lot of the content on the smart screens is 'premium' which means you have to pay extra but they're quite glitchy and every so often the 'premium' content would suddenly be available for free. ... as dramatic but still a really good one – we went much further out into the open water, again crazy clear, pretty and very shallow which meant we could do quite long dives and see so much life. There were still drifts and some currents (one of them was so all over the place the instructor nicknames it 'the washing machine'!) but you just go with them so it's all very easy. Purto and I shower up and go dive off the platforms into the cenote water a few times and we move on. Quick drive to Valladolid and we are ...
... on a bed of frijoles and was a lot tastier than the empanadas and very hot. In fact, I couldn’t really taste the crab at all, just the heat.
The tacos were a little better - good serve of meat plus guacamole, more frijoles and a wicker bowl full of tortillas - but still not great and only managed to get through about half of it before throwing in the towel. Total bill was 562 pesos (about $55) which I didn't think was good value for money.
