This town was really in the middle of nowhere. There was a huge windstorm and the town was super dead, except for a bunch of seniors at the bar down by the beach. We hung out there to use their internet and to watch an episode of Frasier in english. Not our most exciting day. We tried to rent mountain bikes at our resort but they had put them away for the winter... it was like 20 degrees out!

Je reste deux jours dans un camping entre la mer et la montagne, hors de la ville. J'échappe au bruit de la ville, des voitures qui me passent à côté à chaque instant lorsque je pédale... je me sens bien entre l'eau et la montange, quelque chose qui me rappelle la maison.. Je me promène dans ce décor magnifique puis le soir m'en vais à la ville pour faire des courses pour le souper. Je prends mon vélo sans rien dessus... p ...

tentative de mettre du poids à l'avant de mon vélo... infructueux.. j'ai l'impression qu'avec les suspensions, je dois mettre encore plus d'énergie pour avancer.. me sens trop lourde à porter!! Je réfléchis à la prudence... les gens ont peur de beaucoup de choses et souvent me mettent en garde... mais cela tend à attiser mes peurs... et attirer les mauvaises ondes! c'est le mauvais oeil!!

Basically, since the village doesn't have a bull ring, they block off streets to make a circle, and let the bulls loose. There were two bulls, and each one was let loose for about an hour. Normally you wake up on a beach because of the warm morning sun. Not in Peniscola. Not in Peniscola. I woke up because some absolutely butters spanish chick was shouting at me. Honestly, its just rude. Soon the other guys woke up and were trying to stop the two girls getting on the Jetski. Then they stole one of Ollys biscuits ...

I realise now that waking up in the morning knowing you still have your stuff is an overlooked luxuory. More so is using a toilet. Imagine waking up in a car park looking around needing to go to the toilet (2) and only seeing a small shrub. I thought I would learn great life lessons on this trip but in reality I have learnt to get up early to use the toilet whilst its not busy.
