Today turned
out to be a day of disappointments. We walked up to the minibus station to
catch one to the nearby town of Alta Gracia. The bus was of course half an hour
late leaving but we were not pressed for time. We arrived at the town expecting
it to be a small village but instead it was a very sizable place. We stayed on
the bus until it reached its final destination which was the ...

It was a beautiful day and perhaps the best introduction we could've had to the infamous Argentine hospitality. It's hard to miss home when it feels as though you've spent the day with some long lost ...

... one to make sure that at least this night, we were able to try the cerveza, which incidentally was all German. We used this first night as a chance to get to the site as opposed to sampling all the goods. We made our way to a local, price-inflated-by-the-festival restaurant and had a expensive and ever so average meal. Nevertheless, it was good to be together and reminisce about our travels. The following day we headed to La Cumbrecita ...
