After checking out of the hotel we had a bit of a dilemma as to what to do next. It was a toss up between heading back to cordoba or heading to a little town called alta gracia to visit the house that che guevara grew up in. After consideration we decided to catch the bus to alta gracia, we had nothing else to do and we had already seen cordoba, plus it was only 30 minutes away.

As delicious and incredible as the food is, an asado is so much more than just a meal. The culture of hospitality, generosity with one's time, and the value of family permeate the atmosphere of an asado, turning it into a day long event filled with games, singing, drinking mate, and just spending time together.
