Gotta love Central European road signage that includes not only the town name but the country as well. A long and fraught day finishing with a little wailing and gnashing of teeth as we searched for our new home - at least for the next few days. Sadly rain interrupted ...

A long day of travel yesterday from Cesky Krowlow to Bled , passing through Austria .it took us over nine hours with a 2 hour break in Salzburg . We noticed the difference when we passed the border( well there is only a whole lot old buildings deteriorating there) into Austria. Cleaner , better roads , more agriculture .prettier houses with the window boxes full of flowers Wild Bean cafes at roadside BP stops so felt right at home - except we had to pay 50 cents for the loos. ...
