Sadly constrained by the weather. After a beltingly hot few days in Ljubljana we decamped North courtesy of M's first left hand drive experience to Bled up near the Austrian border. Gotta love Central European road signage that includes not only the town name but the country as well. A long day of travel yesterday from Cesky Krowlow to Bled , passing through Austria .it took us over nine hours with a 2 hour break in Salzburg . We noticed the difference when we passed the border( well there is only a whole lot old buildings deteriorating there) into Austria. Cleaner , better roads , more agriculture .prettier houses with the window boxes full of flowers Wild Bean cafes at roadside BP stops so felt right at home - except we had to pay 50 cents for the loos. ...
