    Wednesday 26 August
    Lovely Margreet got up early to give us a ride to Assen station for a 7am train. We said goodbye to our reliable tent and the wonderful environment of Westevelde.

    We had no problem getting on the right train but within the first hour our luck changed. The first disruption was due to signal failure. All trains from the north couldn't go further than Meppal.     Such a yummy breakfast ..Birgit loaded the bowls with fruit fresh fresh fruit and topped it within muesli and yogurt good ...I know trivial but when someone dishes you up the real thing it leaves hotel breakfasts for dead. We head to Germany which is just ten minutes down the road for shopping as its way way cheaper than Switzerland ....OMG much cheaper for everything !!
