... that kinda expense & moved on ;-)

So from Linderhof we took the Deutsche Alpenstrasse (we wavered a few times to see interesting stuff but always came back to it) to Immenstadt, then a bit of cross country & on to Fussen. The temps had been climbing steadily & we hit 29c around Fussen. We didn't visit Neuschwanstein partly cos of the heat & partly due to time pressures. ... bigger towns, more traffic - and a lot warmed. We'd started the day at 10c, it rose to 16c before we dropped down from the 500 & suddenly we were in city traffic in 24c ! Time to whip off the waterproofs & get some water for our lunch stop (a couple of rolls, crisps & cherries) taken in a layby off the busy highway as I didn't want to waste time exiting it & trying to find somewhere quiet.

... to pass for a lady with some breasts he had picked up in some voluntary medical trials. But I digress, the day continued on quite well, in fact very well.
