... to this Claudia´s foot was giving her grief. We got the train back to Pullach, walked (slowly) down to the Isar for a swim and enjoyed the last couple of hours before heading off to the next camp location. In the afternoon we caught the train down to place called Wolfrathausen, which is about 40 minutes south of Munich on the train, but about half that distance from Pullach. On the way we travelled through beautiful green forest and occasionally caught a glance of the Alps ...

... broke out, boys, girls, Germans, Kiwis, Aussies and midgets of an undecided gender - it was all on. The results are a bit fuzzy so lets just say that some people won and some lost but the arm wrestling was the winner on the day. I just lost the rest of the day, damn computer! I'm not happy, so in summary. We left, lost everyone. Got the best pizza in the world and Christine is making and releasing a tribute song - to be released on CD, DVD and MP3 download. Woke up next day and went home. ...

... ITALIAN COUPLE (of no more than 35 years old) who's names are Massimo and Silvia. They are GREAT and both SO COOL. Everytime we enter the pensione they both say with such emotion, "CIAO BELLA!" These little Italians phrases make me tingle inside. They speak perfect English which helps at times, but most often they speak Italian to us so that we'll get better at speaking and understanding. Silvia makes the best food ever, we are so spoiled. ...

... There are a number of spas in Germany, but Baden Baden is most famous. The spas are quite modern though the springs were known from Roman times. Emperor Hadrian is given credit for founding the town of Baden Baden. That was one "good" Emperor who really traveled extensively, built temples, forums, mausoleum etc extensively, wrote poetry and autobiography, and loved and lived intensely. There are two spas "Caracalla's Bath" and "Roman-Irish Baths" side by side in Baden ...
