    ... boarding the bus for Boppard and our Rhine River cruise. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon!!! Beautiful warm day, sun shining and a class of wine from the Rhine area......bliss!!!!     With a day off in Frankfurt before we pick up the motor home for our European adventure, we took the opportunity to visit my nephew Marcus, his wife Hanna and son Matts. Marcus works for Barclays Bank in Frankfurt, and lives in Darmstadt. We had a pleasant day, catching up with Marcus and family, and Hannah's family who we had met at their wedding in December 2013.

    ... quite well decorated and one even has a large animatronic moose head, which sings Christmas carols. Around the Paradeplatz, there are a lot of children's fairytale themed things as well.

    So enough of the complaining. We actually got our first true taste of summer this week because temperatures got up to almost 30 and we even had to sleep with the fan on! I've been able to ride a bike wearing shorts and dodge most of the spring showers. The poppies are blooming in the fields and the crops are growing like crazy.
