Bern is the capital city of Switzerland and has a population of around 138,000, making it the fifth most populous city in Switzerland. In 1983 the old town (Altstadt) of Bern was declared a UNESCO world heritage site, and Bern is ranked among the worlds top ten cities for quality of life. Bern is truly a great city, full of old and new - if you want experience real city Switzerland, the capital is a freakin awesome place to start.

This weekend is going to be a very calm one for me. I have a bit of a cold, I came down with it on wednesday, of course, as we were leavign for Bern.
