    ... in Palma - now in son caliu having breakfast - a tough start to the day. Had a drink last night in Palma outside the Cuba bar watchingthe world go by - fun. This was after supper in a very mediocre italian restaurant - John will tell you which one to avoid - better luck tonight.

    • winds were not good today to get to either ends of Monorca, tomorrow should be different so I'm setting off at 0300 heading towards Cuitadella, lets see what happens.

    ... wish I could have been there.
    The boat performed well, though the jib will fall to bits before the end of the trip. Was using my racing main , will change to the old dacron one when I have a chance.
    Signing off, need a shower, took some very big waves and got very salty.

    ... berth becoming available so E01 it was to be – which is right on the outside -facing the bay which is subject to wash from
    all shapes and sizes of boats and in front of the pump-out andgeneral dumping area of the marineros – nice NOT!

    This was also goingto be our first attempt at going stern on in a Meditterean mooring –
    we generally go bows to due to the dinghy and other stuff hanging offthe back. Anyway, we made a bit of a dogs ...

    ... that we could see more of Ibiza. Along the way we passed Ibiza Town and we are very happy that we didn't go there – the anchorage didn't look particularly inviting
    and the town itself, well, is just one huge resort with wall to wall apartments.
