... views that continued to amaze, especially as everything was covered in a layer of snow. This leg was 2 hours 30 mins and cost only €88 for all 6 of us, I would do it again today just for those views. It's also a way to just sit and relax and listen to music and read and look out at the scenery and relax....(things we haven't had time to do because we're too busy doing everything). I have to say the kids are less enthusiastic about train travel. ...

Third, lightning lit up the sky, and fourth I started counting in my head to figure out how far away the lightning was. Easy, if a little pricey train to Venice today, it was one of the newer quick ones so very comfortable though. Arrived in Venice and was struck by how... venetian it all looks! There can be no other other place on the planet that looks the same.

Miraculously made it to my hostel without getting significantly lost, really nice place with free breakfast and walking distance to the main happenings of ...

      Wonderful Venice

... all the way so didn't spend too much time going over our tracks. Had another spaghetti meal but it was not quite as good. Took heaps of photos and we were really impressed with Venice. There is a bloke on the ship named Bill, who sits up at the Oasis bar. He is very, very big and he always likes to give his opinion about things. We were looking out at Venice and he pointed out a 'bridge' that went from Venice to Italy. I said we are ...
