    ... lace island - it was easily the best - no hard sell and the island even seemed to be more welcoming. It was really green. The houses were very much like cinque terre in that they were all brightly coloured - this was so the fishermen returning at night or in fog would recognise their house by the colour.     Getting here was well wiorth it! The weather is absolutely perfect. No humidity and mild temperatures. The scenery and ambiance even more so.
