... to get on the freeway, but after making tens of lefts and rights, I've finally made it on to the freeway in an hour.
I wanted to take the freeway all the way to Lleida, but I think I've must have messed up somewhere in reading the sign and ending up on the toll road. End up paying 16 euro for the 1:30 hour ride to Lleida.
After checking in at the 2-star hotel, pretty much a hostel, started my tour around the city.

But when we got off the train, there was a bus waiting and once I showed the bus driver where we were going he indicated his bus would take us to the connection we needed. As Peter booked a room at the hotel at the station, we were ready to start our look around Lleida straight away.
We found Lleida full of interesting history. The Seu Vella and what remains of the Suda or Castle of the King sitting on top of the hill overlooking Lleida was our first introduction to Lleida's history.

Last dinner tonight – so good. Grilled veg to start then M had hake and me the tuna.
Then the desserts – OMG! I had chocolate mousse with mango which came with ice cream and tiny slices of apple and squares of marshmallow. – sublime.
