Peace at last...
All the guests have now left and things have calmed down dramatically. We had a few busy days towards the end of last week with lots of boat trips and not much work – but hey, who am I to complain? On Friday we took the boat over to La Maddalena (island across the water from us) for lunch and then spent the afternoon in the most gorgeous little cove – huge sandy coloured rocks and the most beautiful turquoise water. ... we had already agreed on a late start today as we had a really late night last night. We were all invited round to a friend of their's for pizza. It was just amazing, a stunning entertaining area overlooking the most gorgeous mountains. An insane pizza oven and what seemed like an endless supply of delicious pizzas.
