... gusts to who knows what proved to make it interesting to just stay on the road in your lane. I think it may have been easier on the sidecar as it has more mass than Bill's RT and so held on better, but it was still a struggle. The temperature went down to 50 degrees at about 1000 but gradually warmed back up to 57 over the course of the day. The amount of roadwork being done only added to the fun, with frequent " Travouix Ahead" signs indication another wait of from 5 to ...

We traveled down the St. Lawrence and saw the Montmorency Falls on the way. We saw our first marine mammal, a harbor seal today with hopes of many more tomorrow. Playing with the kids, the dog and chilling with my amazing hosts! Good food good company, all in all very nice, thanks Sam and Cris! This morning, I took off around 9h, little ride to the ferry and then it was on again. Up and down, slightly different route I took this time, stayed on the main road, because there was not a lot of traffic and the shoulder ...

... the other days the wind was in the back(ish) bit stinger today. The part out of Quebec is really beautiful and towards ste-Anna de Beaupré. There was already a nasty climb after Montmorency falls. From Ste-Anne it becomes more hilly and the climb to le Massif starts. Mostly it is very gentle some steeper parts, but very doable. Joining the 138 makes the ride less touristy, however the shoulders on this road are verywide and clean. ...

... There were lots of girls all dressed in there ball dresses as it must have been Graduation. By 5.30pm we had seen enough of the city so decided to carry on along the road. We stopped just out of the city at Montmorency Falls. It was closed for the night but we could still carry on up to the top where the swing bridge is looking down on the waterfall. We had to jump a couple of fences but everyone else was doing the same ...
