After much discussion I had convinced Linda to book a motel room instead of her preferred B & B only to discover that our room was like a small house with all the mod cons in a perfect location. The only problem we then faced was to pretend to know enough French to order food etc in ...

I had a long ride today, as I need to get back into Montreal on June 30. The car rental locations near to where I drop off the ...

          Start: Laval, Quebec
          End: Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, Quebec

          Total Kms: 400

We started from Laval at 3:30 pm and drive through heavy Montreal traffic in a light rain. The riding was not very pleasant due to stop-and-go traffic and the rain, however we did finally get out of Montreal and onto Highway 40 to Trois Rivieres, then to Quebec City.

We were behind schedule for our plan, and it was not possible to reach our target destination of ...
