... dishes. Then a nice chicken/vegetable/potato soup. Next, tried little octopus in a sauce - they were not chewy at all, very good. And then beef and chicken that were so moist and tender. Ate way too much, but the variety and flavors were so good. The dessert was fruit which included fresh figs and grapes (looked like blueberries). Then went to bed extremely full and tired...needing to prep for day ...

... was heading in a direction I didn’t really want to be heading, but was too tired to carry on driving back the way I wanted to be. I tucked down for the night ready for a fresh start tomorrow.

After the adventures of the night before, I decided another beach trip was in order! I headed to a place called Marina di Grosseto, and to a stop which was 400 meters from the beach.

... have gone up in price! Vino and pizza for lunch, che sorpresa! I find I'm annoyed now when people speak English to me, I'm speaking Italian (or maybe not......) Mainland - Tuscany is only 30 mins or so away, €10 people, €50 car. I wonder if people commute? One ferry company have 100 trips to and fro per week starting at 515 am so I'm guessing so. Lots of bikes and apparently both biking and hiking are popular. Definitely a place for a holiday, ...
