... did more in so little time as France’s all time greatest military mastermind and badboy, Napoleon Bonaparte.Though the Emperor escaped less than a year after being “exiled” to Elba ( I think that's like the penal equivalent of a slap on then hand then a hand massage!! ).
Napoleon left a lasting mark on the island and its inhabitants who, even now, almost 200 years later, still say a Mass each May for his soul at Chiesa della ...

Hmmm what happened today? Oh! Today was the day of terrible food choices. He has also revealed and restored some frescoes in his top half of the church. It is appalling that the powers that be have converted the lower half into prosaic offices. He rails against the political culture in Italy, and perhaps Italian culture in general. He explains ...

... with protection. Last day and up to brekkie early so we were near internet and could watch the Tigers play in their final. Wish we'd stayed in bed ........useless lot. After and we walked a few km to the next little village and back. Then down the 60????steps to the 'beach'. Hahahahahaha!!!'
