... This required some complicated local bus transfers, so after the museum marathon, I was pretty spent. I lazily wandered around the garden, opting not to hike up into the cloud forest. I just tried to enjoy the trees and the tranquility away from the bustling, traffic-heavy streets of Xalapa.

... during a dance called, Las Danzas de los Morenos, performed at Easter time. The dance depicts pairs of animals, who dance in front of the Romans guarding the tomb of Jesus, trying to distract them, as Mary rescues the body of Jesus. The next day I headed out to a nearby town to check out a few waterfalls. I got eaten alive by mosquitos just for a few photos. I had some delicious regional mole and a new drink called torito. Not sure what is in it but it was good. Back into town to shower and scratch my arms and legs for a few hours. Rested up and packed to be on my way in the morning. ... about twenty minutes to a new town – Comala. Comala is considered a Mexican "Magic Pueblo" because the architecture is original and has no changes. Sadly, this area looked a bit more destitute than Colima. We arrived at another town square, very small, and went to a Mexican Restaurant where we had prepaid for a meal. ... Friggot bird is trying its best circling a tree with loads of small baby birds in nests. Every now and again one of the much smaller birds comes out and chases the massive Friggot bird away.
