... the house. I got a selfie stick :) Then we had lunch at my Fabs parents house again. Odell is a fantastic cook! We had entree of garlic butter escargot(snails). I had 15 snails and after huge negativity for trying them for 6 months, Ashleigh caved and had 5. They certainly weren't as bad as she thought. Main was served and we had wild boar. ... automatic ordering machines. Touch screen computers that take your order so you don't have to queue. The best thing ever. Anyway we continued onto the markets after waiting ages for Linda and Ashleigh to finish shopping... The city is coated in lights. Every street and building has Christmas lights and decorations! The markets were excellent. We browsed the various stalls of Christmas decorations, ornaments, nicknacks, crepes, pizza baguettes, toffee ...

... supermarket-bought salmon, prawns and crabs. Our one true restaurant meal was at this far-flung place (if you choose to walk like we did) in Schiltigheim. Aux Quatre Vents was a true gem. We stumbled into a little cosy house, not knowing what was on the menu. We had escargots, rabbit meat, lagsana, spatzle, salad ...
