... Kaspar Diggelmann died in Mannedorf in 1897.
We returned to our hotel in Zurich for a short while. The weather brightened a little later in the afternoon and we walked to the Kunsthaus Zurich Art Museum where we spent a couple of hours checking out their large international collection. They have prominent works by Picasso, Monet and Chagall to name a ...

Today's agenda was to head North, to Stein am Rhein, a little quaint town along the Rhine river/Germany border.

We walked around the historic city-centre for a bit and then had lunch. The infamous sausage with onion gravy and pomme frittes was as good as Beth assured us it would be!

We also stopped at a chocolate shop where Dave bought some ...

    ... all very exciting!

After the incident with the Swiss Border Guards, the rest of the trip was very dull. I arrived in Zürich right on time at 19:17. At the Zürich Hauptbanhof station, I was instantly confused. The directions I had for the hostel were vague. I had instructions to cross the river twice, which was wrong. Eventually I found the hostel, and in the process, two babe-like Aussie's who were trying to get a room ...
