We are sitting on the train in our way to Zurich. The trip should only take about 3ish hours so we will have the rest of the day to explore a little bit - and buy some Swiss chocolate! Since I have a bit of time I thought I would expand a bit on Paris. They have these rather interesting public toilets. Mom and Dad were super excited about seeing the Alps and seeing Zurich in all her sunny glory. After getting through immigration we had to find steps for Mom to go down to exit the airport. We finally got mom downstairs and ...

Today's agenda was to head North, to Stein am Rhein, a little quaint town along the Rhine river/Germany border.

We walked around the historic city-centre for a bit and then had lunch. The infamous sausage with onion gravy and pomme frittes was as good as Beth assured us it would be!

We also stopped at a chocolate shop where Dave bought some ...

... to buy groceries because everything was written in German, but we eventually succeeded.
We walked along the canal for a while to check out the people swimming around and the views of the lake. The lake was really stunning with a beautiful mountain backdrop and lots of little boats and birds. The swimmers were pretty hilarious too-- many of the European men wear a much different style of bathing suit than the boys in the ...
