    We caught the bus from berlin to wroclaw. Up early as the bus left at 7am and took I think about 4-5 hours again.     ... week. I did not go because he spoke in Italian and then it was translated to Polish so I would not have been able to understand anything. But my classmate Paolo went because he is Italian, and got to speak with him. And Medini told Paolo that there are so many pretty girls here but he should focus on his Artwork first. How fantastic.

    ... but it was HUGE and i got some super cool hand knitted socks that I'm excited to rock. they are super bright colored but really cool and the key: really warm :).Oh and there was the most disgusting thing i have ever seen. whole fried fish sitting charred on the grill for sale to eat, just fish chillen whole for you to grab and munch on. then next to it was a big bin of live fish so crowded in water if you want to buy them live. but not in any sort of sanitary capacity. gah. ...

It was painted to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Kosciusko Uprising, the only battle that the Pols won fighting the Russians - a very big deal!
