Hotel Bacchus Bensheim

It was sooooo cold in Frankfurt, we didn't want to spend much time here since we had no winter clothing. WE got in late, went to our hotel, then back to the airport to get our flight to Bangkok moved up. We though it would be at 8 that night, but they managed to get us on the next flight out, which was pretty much within the hour. Woohooo! I also kept speaking Italian in Germany... so confused with all the languages.

... they passed their time engraving the walls and sparse furniture. On the flip side, the ticket also got me into the old lecture hall which stood in direct opposition to the prison. The picture does little justice to it's grandeur. I even understood a few words of the docent's spiel. Had to read on the English guide what was on the left and right sides or what happened in 1700 but I understood those words, baby steps.

... plane. It was such a relief to be in my seat 4A with my carry-on carefully stowed and the flight attendant being somewhat attentive to my needs. The folks who were fortunate enough to board before me were finishing their glass of champagne and starting their first glass of white wine. Mind you, it is only 11:15 in the morning! Just water for me, please. I ate, I slept and I arrived in Hyderabad India some 10 hours later at about 1:30 am.
