... and hardly any people so I had my own compartment - was really nice and relaxing. Then we stop at this one stop for longer than usual. I was a bit worried I missed a direction because I was by myself this time. Then I saw a police officer and he yelled something and moved on - of course not in English. Was I to stay/leave? Luckily another guy came and asked for passports - we were at the Slovenia/Croatia border. A girl I met the next day was caught here for being in Europe ...

It was awesome being the only visitors on the trail and at the castle where Steve hiked as a missionary 20 years ago.
On our way back into town, we stopped at this really cool restaurant and ordered cevapis (again:)).

... for seven years while she was going to school, but I think they are different looking from Guilin. Then we discussed how JiuZhaigou is probably more beautiful, but neither of us had been there. And I think these lakes will be less crowded than JiuZhaiGou, since I’m going on a weekday during the school year, and it’s in Croatia which is only beginning to get a reputation for being a good tourist destination.
