Luckily another guy came and asked for passports - we were at the Slovenia/Croatia border. A girl I met the next day was caught here for being in Europe ...

... for seven years while she was going to school, but I think they are different looking from Guilin. Then we discussed how JiuZhaigou is probably more beautiful, but neither of us had been there. And I think these lakes will be less crowded than JiuZhaiGou, since I’m going on a weekday during the school year, and it’s in Croatia which is only beginning to get a reputation for being a good tourist destination.
