... destination of St Malo on the Brittany Coast. A short detour took us to the medieval village of Josselin with its impressive castle on the river. So to St Malo...a wander down the boardwalk...seduced by a sea food restaurant, huites (oysters) and the best ever noix (scallops) and crepes suzette - a fitting finale for France! Just time to walk around the ramparts of the old town in the warm evening twilight (at 10 pm!). Merci Beaucoup de St Malo, Au Revoir ...

... above the drawbridge, and descended to the gift shop just in time. Jonathan bought more books, I bought a macaron! Such are our tastes!

It was straight home to Dinan then, well almost. We needed bread for dinner and deviated from the GPS lady's route to get it in the old town, and then she tried to send us driving down the Rue de Petit Fort to get home. Jonathan was having none of this - through a narrow arch ...

... book ourselves a couple of camp sites in a town called Bourg-Achard. The following morning was spent getting our brake lights fixed, luckily we found a Citroen garage, unfortunately for us we didn't have the luxury of our Melbourne mechanic to do a good deal for us. That afternoon we drove further south and met up with Luke, Kate and the kids at Mont St Michel and camped for the ...
