... or so. Not very busy as I walked in. Very cute waitress who didn't speak English, she got the guy who spoke English a little. Ordered salad with tomato and lettuce and mozzarella. Opted for a quiet day, explored this sweet village, bought the breakfast baton, went for a lovely walk for a couple of hours, read, listened to Music on my iPod, sketched, watched a woodpecker getting his dinner and generally chilled. ... despite the efforts to plant more French oak trees, this of course takes a lot of time to mature and be productive. All the white wine grapes here are hand picked, but the red is both hand and machine picked. While the red wine is pumped during the fermentation process to mix the juice with the pulp, seeds, skins, here their white is mixed by hand with big wooden spoons. This is also a French heritage protected site and they are unable to clean the walls as a result. ...
