Landed. Waited about 25 on the ground before disembarking but from there it was a breeze at both security, customs and the cab ride to the hotel. Crossed the Williamsburg bridge and saw Manhattan.
One of the buildings (yet to be identified(Empire State building)) top was lit up like a rainbow for the pride weekend. What a welcome!!
... We finished our breakfast and walked over to the MET for our own tour. The Oasis tours are absolutely fantastic! We took the Integrity tour and and our guide Chris made history and the Bible come to life. Central Park) and got back on ...
Rested up and then planned to re-visit Eatily place but there was a 1.5 hour wait! Instead went to "Shake Shack" in Madison Gardens. Ruth and Tom played table tennis and it was great occasion but burgers bit greasy (chocolate shake better than strawberry!).
We have discovered Ruth can't eat burgers. May be a problem........
Setting off for Boston tomorrow. Looking forward to quieter days ahead.
