    Landed. Waited about 25 on the ground before disembarking but from there it was a breeze at both security, customs and the cab ride to the hotel. Crossed the Williamsburg bridge and saw Manhattan.
    One of the buildings (yet to be identified(Empire State building)) top was lit up like a rainbow for the pride weekend. What a welcome!!

    ... we had left the ship, but still we had to take shoes and belts off and put our worldly goods and ourselves through the scanner.)

    There followed around 30 minutes of hanging around before we could re-embark the ship. (US Customs requires every passenger to have gone though Immigration before any passengers are allowed to return to the ship.)
