So this is it, the final stop! We arrived in New York in the morning met my mate Alex, who took us to his flat in Brooklyn where we'd be staying. We dropped our bags off, freshened up and headed back out to Manhattan. After a quick lunch we caught the free ferry to Staten Island, which is a sneaky way to get an up close view of the Statue of Liberty. It was cool to finally see it, one of the worlds most famous landmarks right in front of us. When ...

Update 4: Anne, Cathy, and Daphne are off seeing Wicked on Broadway. That gave me (Dave) a chance for dessert - which turned into a second dinner of lobster roll sliders. I think I sprained my ...

... Times Square, Broadway and Central Park. We spent about 45 minutes looking for Carnegie Hall too, all to find out that it was just a few seconds walk away from our hotel - Navigation isn't exactly our strong point.

When we got to Central Park we could see a sign stating that the park was closed due to last night's huge storm - the worst one since 1974 according to our pilot. But there were a lot of people already in there. Assuming that maybe just the roads were still closed ...

... soup was cold. The Salmon filet was good but lacked flavor.

We went to Howl at the Moon, dueling pianos. It was fun to see live music, but I thought they were going to try to out-do each other on the piano but instead they just took requests from the audience commenting that your requests move to the top of the pile if it came with money. TACKY. That turned me off.
