Não é à toa que Gramado é sede do concorrido Festival de Cinema que movimenta a Serra Gaúcha no mês de agosto. ... the waterfall is, and walking out, I discovered that a bus wasn't coming for another 5 hours. Walking back was less than pleasant, and I was done for the day, after that. Still, the falls were pretty cool. I have some pics I'll post later. The river plummets over a cliff, but the entire cliff-face behind the falls has given way, so there's a big vertical crater behind the falls.
