The other attraction behind the Buddha is a hole carved in the base of one of the supporting pillars, said to be the same diameter as big Buddha’s nostrils. ... down to the water and noticed something. Kobe (at least where we were) reminded us both, a lot of Vancouver. I got the feeling throughout the city today. Kobe is basically a Japanese version of Vancouver, only without the homeless people, the crime, the drug addicts, the garbage, the *****s... etc. It's a nice downtown Vancouver.
