... the Black Sea. Unfortunately, I can't manage fish if it's not filleted. All that skin and the tail … this one didn't have its head, at least. Discovered that mackerel is about as bland as you can get, and it's really bony too. Dessert was three plums and a peach (which is what I plan to call my next novel).

It's nearly 10:30 now, and I'd really like to read my book. But the idea of keeping my eyes open for another ten minutes seems utterly ...

Borderline chaos and Black Sea

... through so another build up must have formed on the Turkish side. It was chaos and there were some very volatile people. In each case though there was a pacifist to calm the situation. Every now and again someone hooted. This would initiate a chorus of hooters for a minute or two before lethargy took over. Many people left their vehicles and then couldn’t find them when they came back.

Bucharest is a nice city. Kinda creepy looking though. The buildings look old. Like, very old. Some of them obviously falling apart. However there is a lot of billboards and all kinds of advertisements pretty much everywhere you look. Imagine a tall building that looks like it can hardly be used for anything anymore. ... was discovered during WWII while they were digging for .....something!? Not too terrible exciting. We did have a chance to meet Stefan's mom at the museum- that was cute! Of course no English! Our last stop with our sack lunches was at a Russian Church - one of only two in Bulgaria. It was stunning! Then it was back on the bus for a four hour drive.
