... inside wasn't too special and there was no place to look out over the city. If you ever go, I recommend skipping the basilica, and the hike up there!

Definitely a beautiful day trip but there isn't a whole lot to do when the carnival isn't in full swing. I would love to go back in the warmer months to see the caves around the back of the mountains, they sound absolutely wonderful!

... go. I know it will be difficult to leave my boyfriend and family but I'm so excited to meet new people, to see a new country and live this amazing adventure through journalism.

See you tomorrow at my Frankfort' stopover.

In five days, I'll be leaving Geneva for an amazing adventure. This week is going to be busy, because I still have to do a lot before the departure.

I did already all my paperwork for the travelling, my vaccines are all done and my luggages are almost ready too.

Now, I have to read a lot about South Africa and the history about Cap Town, to be able to write good articles when I'll be there.

      Let's go!

You can see some examples in the album pictures. After finishing the tour, it was much too late for the boat cruise but I was hoping that maybe I could go onto the water taxis. Unfortunately, I went uphill in the opposite direction... and just gave up and took a bus home... Maybe tomorrow! >.<

My camera in one hand, and Swiss white chocolate with lemon in the other, we cruised through Chamonix. It was beautiful. Quaint, yet sophisticated and had views of the mountains at every turn. We were thrilled to find a lovely campsite just outside Sallanches. It was small, and well equipped. The restrooms were inside a super cute, chalet-style wooden house and ...
