    ... for best western hotels. It's a large room on ground floor with a kettle. Can make a cuppa. Greg has a headache so have to find panadol as well. It must be the hat I bought him. Looks like a local now. Was good to have a cat nap at hotel before tea. Tea at restaurant wad lovely. Greg had steak with salad & vegies. Huge & I had just vegies.     We had heard the salt mine tours were a fun time, so we walked back to the train station and bought the "salt ticket." This allowed us to ride the train and then bus to get to the attraction, got us into the tour, and then worked for transportation home as well. It was highly convenient!

    The next morning we made our way to the famous Salz Welten (salt mines) of Hallein. It was something my Grandmother's husband’s daughter, Marianne (figure that one out) suggested we do while in the area and so we thought it might be fun.
