Beautiful Lakes of Germany

During the night I woke thinking that it was raining but it was just the sound of the stampeding river racing through the village. I woke to another very warm day, however, as Germany is more backward than I would ever have imagined, not only does this hotel not have wi-fi available, it appears that only one establishment in the village does so I can't check the weather forecasts. It also means that I will probably have to wait until we go into Salzburg tomorrow to ...

I am waking at 5:30 each morning in Burgeis because that is when the cows start mooing outside my window and although I am on the second floor they make a good alarm clock. Next stop was Furth and stayed at a Hotel that was very old with a ...

It turned out to be a beautiful medieval moat town. We had a great time exploring the town and surrounding ...

Where do they hide them? We only ever stumble across old dried cow poo. It turns out they are still kept in sheds as it isn't quite summer. Here in the Tirol region they also have festivals of dressing up the cows ...
