... it was a scary moment! After about an hour they cooled down and started working again. But being a Sunday in the mountains we didn’t hold out much hope of being rescued so we limped back to the site and arranged the next day to have the brakes checked out by the local garage. Whilst we were holed up here we did do some sightseeing. Pau (great lunch here!) and various other local towns with history attached. Orthez was also worth a visit.
