... Our hotel was only 150 metres from the station. I asked a man working at a street kiosk and he was very helpful. Already we are learning English-speaking people are easier to come by in Athens than in Rome.

We made it to the hotel, checked in and after remembering that the 1st floor is up from the 0 (ground) floor, we took the smallest elevator ever.
