Forecast...rainy today. We dressed warm for deceivingly warm warm weather. We decided to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant that overlooks the Parthenon. Cruising day to Athens
Very quiet day today – in addition to no stops, I have developed a sore throat and cold – so not my normal sparky self.
We just lay around the pool, did crosswords and did some reading.
For our evening meal, we were with our new American friends again – some lively discussion about the world economy, US politics etc.

A Last Look at Athens
We caught a plane from Santorini back to Athens on June 8. That gave us a day and a half in Athens before flying home. Athens was in the midst of a brutal heat wave - I think the temperature was up around 35 above.
