    ... BUT great fun day! We went to Salzburg. It is very artistic,beautiful and individual city.     ... ruined the style and flair of the place. I don’t know if it would have been better to finish off the place to give it the look that it deserves, although I guess it ties in with the sudden tragic nature of the young King’s death.

    ... was very touching and heart-wrenching all at the same time. It was so sad to see what happened to the victims and their loved ones during the Holocaust. After the video we had a guided tour of the camp, given by a German woman who really did a great job giving information about Dachau.     ... went inside the ice cave ... and found that we had to go up another 700 steps, then come back down 700 more! 134m elevation gain, which doesn't sound that much except when you think that we basically climbed up to the top of Central Park & back in below zero temperatures.

We arrived to a drizzly wet afternoon in Salzburg and after a quick stroll around our hotel area headed to the laundromat for some much needed clean clothing.
