... boulevard at the heart of historic Berlin & thought to be the grandest street in the city. We passed many major sites but the highlight was the Brandenburg Gate and the beautiful Reichstag. This building, now the German Parliment, mixes the grandeur of old-world architecture with a modern glass dome that sits on top of it. It is quite stunning to see lit-up & glowing at night.

... we explore the Red Bull World Exhibit. There were planes, race cars, motorcycles and the astronaut suit belonging to Austrian Felix Baumgartener - the first man to set the world record for sky diving, an estimated 39km. ... We are tired but the walk inside the castle has everyone's attention and the museum and views are quite something. We stop for a beer and chocolate cake and then begin our decent. By the time we are back in the town's centre we are pooped. We head back for our room and decide to do pizza for dinner - take-away style. There is a pizza joint right across the road from where we are staying so it all works out ...
