      ... stag and hen parties organised by our amazing friends- mine a weekend of festivals and glamping and tais a long weekend in berlin!! Before we knew it we were back in NZ, moved into a warm mouse free home with great friends, got addicted to protein shakes and cross fit and counted down the days till we headed back to the uk again for our wedding!!       ... is really cool. Not worrying about running out of sunlight on a hike is magic. What we did not like: . Ok it's painful paying $15 for a red wine or a beer, but we just limited ourselves to a glass and it was fine. Pre purchasing a package with dinner, bed and breakfast ( with Inntravel - a UK based travel company: we recommend them ) limited the constant pain of paying for food, but even hiking snacks are expensive. .       ... however, as in most of Europe it arrived as a tiny little cup ;-( After that wonderful meal I headed back to the petrol station I filled the tank up on arrival and bought some car shampoo and a sponge to wash down my poor dirty bike. While eating lunch I noticed other cars being washed and so thought this was the place to clean my bike.       ... out. Early acculturation is essential this far north. No such thing as early to bed and early to rise. And, if you need an early kaffe to kick start the day, then survival skills are elementary, or you brew your own. We were very fortunate, however, today. The cafe at the Climbing and Skiing School had opened specially to breakfast and kaffe a group of telemark skiers.
