Lake Geneva has the clearest water I have ever seen in a lake. The lake itself is surrounded by the 2nd most populated city in Switzerland, so it is interesting that they have the ability to keep the water so clean and clear. Lake Geneva is also surrounded by very large snow covered mountains.

Travel day...
Today we boarded our first train leaving toulouse at 07h18 or so. It was a long day of getting on and getting off. Once we arrived and sorted out our next few train tickets we decided to keep our packs and stop for Coffee the menu looked lacking and I hadn't found a machine to take out franks so I opted for a coffee and ate some almonds. Geneva Weekend trip

Lausanne [managed to sneak through the fence, thanks to clever C], walked down to harbour to take photos by the lake [just as beautiful – never get tired of lake and snow-capped mountains!], tram up to old town where we follow the walking tour, ran for our train and made it, ate overpriced food by the river, got to the airport in good time.
In conclusion, Geneva itself is nice, but it’s probably only worth 1 or at most 2 ...
Ok, it has been a long time
... to stay here for quite a while, just maybe going home for Christmas, and going on a few trips. I am probably going to visit a good friend in Kosovo in a couple of months, which is super exciting! :) But I am very happy to stay in Geneva.. first because I can't stand moving any more, it's so boring.. And because I truly like this city! This is definitely a place that I would choose to move to and spend a few years.
