      ... is made and distributed in Switzerland - not sure if I like knowing that Cheese lasts for a year or not, but it was still quite awesome bc we ate lunch here and everything was full of awesome cheese!

      It has been a great start so far - our program has 33 students from all over and it has been fun getting to know everyone and seeing how University life differs in Europe from the U.S!

      ... got pretty cold in the snow - because for some reason they still have outdoor shopping malls, like queen street in Brisbane. It was nice at first till it started getting too cold. Then we went to the only other thing in the town which was open, which was the Zeppelin Museum. It turns out this was pretty much the home of the Zeppelin - or where they were built anyway. We had a walk around and quite a few exhibits had English translations which was good. I'm not ...

      Today it was time to move on from our first apartment/hotel to our second one 'Villa von Soden' in Friedrichshafen.       ... but after an array of obstacles (the boys getting into a argument with the bouncers due to a lost coat in the cloakroom, being denied by many cabs despite offering them €100 to take us home, standing hours outside a train station in very negative degree weather and catching a bus at 5:40 am which didn't actually go to our area) we finally made it home at 7:15am.       ... did not match Italy in that there was a lift up to the deck instead of dicky stairs, the toilets were clean and had detergent and hand dryers that worked, when you got to the other side it was not a free for all but you were let off in order. Then drove to Insel Mainau the garden Island, even though it's nearly winter, the gardens are gorgeous. Did some shopping in Konstance, great town, then back via the ferry to our Hotel, great day all around. Another day bit cloudy and cold ...
