    ... There was an indoor butterfly garden, citrus gardens, a grove of rare Sequoias from china, rose gardens, herb gardens, flower sculptures that look like ducks and peacocks. There were ducks, fish, llamas, sheep, ponies for children to ride on. Amongst the flowers were the obligatory umbrellas announcing beer, food and ice cream is available. On the way back to the boat, a dirigible flew overhead. And the weather was warm and dry until we returned to Meersburg when it once again ...

    We headed down towards Lake Constance as a stop off on our way to Munich, although we seemed to be positioned in a small gap between 2 permanent vans which people used as a walk through, it turned out not to be a bad position by the lake.

    We cycled into the local villages around the campsite, but not a great deal to see apart from the views.

    ... falls themselves but that was rejected. Little boats came from downstream delivering tourists to the base of the falls so they could crawl through the mist to the rock with the Swiss flag. We drove to Altparadis (old paradise) where we had lunch at a restaurant by the Rhine. It flowed quickly just a metre below the outdoor tables.     Schaffhausen is a small town from you can visit the Rhin Falls, the bigger waterfalls in Europe.
    You can take bus number 1 from the train station and, in about 10 minutes, you have to step off in "Neuhausen Zentrum". From there there a lot of pannels indicating the direction to the waterfalls. You can reach them in about 7-8 minutes on foot.
