... is for 3 nights from Monday and the weather forecast is rain and thunderstorms for the three days! But with panoramic mountain views, I'm sure we'll cope and it will be a welcome break from this mugginess. The rest of the day was spent trying to breathe. The heat really was awful. Not a breath of air, we were both just dripping in the shade and worried about the dog. We felt pretty trapped, just waiting for Monday to move on but not able to go anywhere or do anything. I've ...

firefighting. We had a look around that and a few of the other things to see that we hadn’t seen on the tour, like the various (very upmarket) craft shops including a goldsmith and shoe maker.

We definitely will not miss the ...

... run long cable across or in front or behind neighbours or they have to do to us. Dinner was a snacky griddled chicken, sausage and beans and then we settled down to Prison Break. The rain did not stop, and then the thunder and lightning started. No awning as we were just one night and Prego couldn't have slept outside in the storm anyway. An uneventful day really but necessary to get us closer to the Black Forest to meet mum and ...

    It's raining again!

It's raining and 11 degrees outside so from the comfort and warmth of our hotel room we decided to take the 40km direct ride rather than the 60km tourist jaunt.

By the time we'd had breakfast and were loading the Pino the rain was gone. So in a moment of weakness we decided to change to the 60km route.

The 60km route was scenic but when the guide book says "you'll have to master the occasional ascent" they ...
