... reminder of our drive into Italy. As we enter Barcelona our GPS now brings up the airport, but only after we have been far too long amongst some frenetic Spanish driving and seen too much of the motorway system. The contrast between the relaxed driving behaviour of rural Spain and the passion of Barcelona is striking. After about 3 hours from Andorra we deliver the car to the airport depot. We have bought heaps of little gifts , it was a fun experience negotiating in Spanish / English/ sign language. We have made it to Barcelona in one piece. Spanish drivers are crazy !, somehow we have managed to ...

Cabin on the mountain

... mountain goat track (see pic) to the car & bike the vistas through the clouds made one feel you could have been in any mountains in the world. We eventually passed the other houses and neighbours in their village of Coulat. We turned the corner to their car and my moto. Met their closest neighbour "Bruno" again who wa off fly fishing and I was now feeling more confident of the French greeting so practised that on Bruno - ...
