We missed the riot. Apparently a number of Africans were injured in a riots on the night before we departed ..... attacked by the Albanians who have dominance in the lorry car park. Luckily we were up at Europe Cite .... which was unfortunately closed on that Sunday. The shopping opportunities are passing me by! Alas!

... to the pub area where a continental breakfast was to be ready for us. While. I raved about the breakfast yesterday, this morning's offerings were quite the disappointment. Only some turkey slices, bread, toast, croissant, yogurt and cereals. We only had some croissants and juice or coffee.we definitely drew the short end of the stick with today's breakfast options. Totally misjudged the pack down time, resulting in a mad scramble for the port. Got up in time but lost track. Made it though, straight on the boat. Hank had a monster breakfast, I had croissants (bit queasy) Ben had mouthfuls of everyone else's and grapes, Bells had a good go at a bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes. Arrived in France about 9 and currently on route to Le Mans. Quite a few wee stops and a bit of a longer/stretch legs/play stop. Just had a gorgeous jambon/emmental baguette. ...

... battle was given a bouquet of flowers. Once he had gone around all six coffins paying his respects to each, he finally placed the bouquet on one of the caskets. He chose number 6 and said this was because his regimental number added to six and he was in the 6th Regiment so 6 seemed the right one to chose. ... which sounds posh except, it was in a motorway service area! We couldn’t have got nearer to Monte Carlo anyway, as it is the Grand Prix this weekend.

Arrived at Pip at, more or less, the same time as Roy & Judy who were as tired as we were as they, like us, had been up since 4 am. Meal & bed - we all slept well.
