... It is starting to rain and time to find digs for the night. A few miles more in the direction of the Col de la Bonette (tomorrow's challenge) to the small town of Saint Etienne de Tinee and find the Hotel Le Regalivou.

... Red Leader was bold and chose to wear shorts from the off. Bald Eagle whimped out and only unzipped his legs at coffee time. We set off needing an early fuel stop which we hoped would provide a sandwich for later consumption but the shop at the petrol station only sold oil and car batteries. What use is that? ... chefs in the hotel car park so we went over and watched the mechanics fix and clean the bikes. When we left we saw Contador having tea with a mate outside.

On the motorway Mum realised she had booked our hotel in Sainte Maxime for the wrong year. So we decided to head home an extra 100kms! We got home at 11.30pm and were so tired we didn't bother unpacking the car we just went inside to bed.
