Place Llandelo, Le Conquet Brest, Brittany, France
... in France, and it’s broken now. Most of the time they've just been sitting in a corner unused. I wonder if it was damaged loading in and out of the car on our ride to Brest?
Fortunately there was a cycle shop in Lesneven which was very close by and wasn’t out of the way of our journey. Brian had the fun job of communicating the problem, but it wasn’t difficult. One ...
... 8217; road, and scummy ponds where wash used to be done tell back to a time when things were very different. Mami herself is an enchating lady. At first glance you know she is a wealth of information as she putters around the kitchen. Hands and fingers knarled from years of hard work still fly faster than a young pair when peeling apples or potatoes.
She recounts a story during the war of when Russian soldiers came ...

Brest. It is a lovely place in Brittany, near france where they speak french. Brest was good and fun so i am going to tell you about it. Well my mum felt sick so we stayed at a port side hotel for the night. Then we set out the next morning to the hotel we were supposed to stay at. The day after we checked ...
After last night I got up quiet late and we went Josh and I went to Christophe to copy some old French movies on DVDs for me to take back home at the end of the trip but we run into a trap as I was told we were expected to have lunch with them. So I went back to the hotel to ...

Brest, Brittany, France fbauchet... have gone and in their place is a beautiful visitor centre and modern shops etc... We went for a walk along the coastline to the very point of land called "the Pointe du Raz", at least to the last point possible to walk to. We slowly came back to the shops and had lunch.... crepes.... they are never better than in Brittany. While walking along we saw a large beach and Margaret wanted to know if we could get there. Once again people ask ...
Brest, Brittany, France fbauchetAfter packing the car we went on the port for the "petit dejeuner" and we took the tourist drive toward Brest to be closer to my friends. We found a hotel called Oceania with a swimming pool (do not get excited as it is only 3ft deep) design for English tourist in mind. But the rooms were nice and large so all in all not a bad choice but for the location.... the local industrial estate. Anyway ...
Brest, Brittany, France fbauchet... to check the apartment with her. Anyway we finally got on the road and made our way out of Paris quiet fast and got on the freeway at a cruising speed of 150km/hr. The further we got from Paris, the sicker Margaret got so we had to find a hotel quickly. After a few phone calls we arrived in Camaret sur mer, a lovely little sea port on the Brittany coast and stayed there for the night.
Camaret-sur-Mer, Brittany, France fbauchet... and reading books. We went to play tennis in the afternoon. after we went to the sea to dip our toes in, kind of cold like Lake Huron at the end of June. Sunday we went for a very long walk along the coast and then lazed around some more. We left around 9:00 so we got into Rennes at 11:00. It was a very fun weekend.
