Today we wake to a thick fog over the river. Late start. Breakfast was wonderful consisting of croissants, fresh rolls, meat selection, cheeses, cakes, jam, fruit, cereal, juice, coffee or tea. ... Madrid, and they were playing each other (kind of like the Chicago baseball's crosstown classic??). It was great to see the passion they all had for their teams. Athletico won ("working man's team" I was told), and there was a big celebration.

Tomorrow we head to the coast and a boat ride.

Heel pads? Pro: no more heel bone pain. Con: caused a blister on right heel - darn! I'd take heel pain over a blister any day of the week.... oh well...
