    ... 2,000 years ago and three reconstructed houses to give you a sense of things. In some ways, they reminded me of the places I had seen in the mountains of Nepal only a few months ago and how people still live today.

    The train brought us back to Santiago for our final night in this historic and fine city.

    A Guarda

    On the way to the bus station, the heavens opened and Galician rain fell. When it rains in Galicia, it really rains! I was wearing a rain jacket but my legs were soon saturated.

    At the bus station, there was a little shop selling trousers and jeans for €5 and so I quickly tried on a pair and bought them as a spare in case I get caught out for a third time in Vigo.

    ... where folks come to regain their health. Unfortunately it is to wet and cold to sample them. So best try the Vino instead. Heck Freddy is fraught lots of old folk in robes, little tiled rooms and nurses, lounges with card games and Tv's everywhere dark and dreary.     We caught the train down to Vigo on the coast this morning. It's a big city on the mouth of the Ria de Vigo and to cut a long story short, it has belted down with rain all day.

    ... terminal and out to the front of the terminal so we decided to go back inside the shopping centre and buy some pastries from the bakery. I bought some Halloween biscuits.
