Just finished my first week of school and my second week total in Spain. And wow, it's been quite an experience thus far.
The life here is not quite what I expected. In some ways it's very similar to life in the US and in some ways its totally backwards. I'll still have another posting giving my general impressions of the pilgrimage, the people I met, to supplement the short write ups I did from the Camino where I had to use public, coin operated computers that weren't always in the best of shapes, many were antiquated and had problems to download pictures.

... started telling their story, the class had to react with the correct type of response which was fun. After class, a few of us went to go see Carmen. It was definitely a great cultural experience. The costumes and the dancing was absolutely amazing. Even though I couldn't exactly understand every word they were singing, it was a lot of fun to watch.

... a few blocks. Did I mention it was raining? Rolling our bags along the cobblestone street and trying to find the small doorway that was the entrance to our hotel was a challenge. If we’d had a spare hand, an umbrella might have come in handy, but we just trudged through the downpour to finally find the hotel, right in the heart of an attractive shopping district in the Arab Quarter.
