Evidence: a terminus ante quem for A Shrew would seem to be August 1592; a stage direction at 3.21 mentions "Simon," which probably refers to the actor Simon Jewell, who was buried on 21 August 1592.[32] The Shrew ...

It is lovely slowly cruising along the canals at this time if day; the sun is starting to set and there are still remnants of fog in the air (it was foggy again today). The light is beautiful. We enter the Grand Canal and cruise under the Rialto Bridge heading back towards San Marco. I think this has been the perfect way to finish my stay in Venice- just beautiful. All too soon ...

... hard to believe. The density of Venetian infrastructure is fascinating! After getting many photos up the Campanile we headed back down into the square for lunch. We both got a shciacciata - a chicken lettuce and cheese roll. SO cheap too! We sat and ate it on the stairs in the square. Luckily we finished before the orange shirts came along. They go around telling people they cannot sat in the square. Pfft. As if you will stop everyone from doing it...
