    ... glowing orange glob of molten glass into a squirrel and then made a cat and mouse. Just used a pick and stretched and spun as necessary. We bought some glass.
    Burano is smaller and not as popular with the tourists (yea!)

    Side note #2: we could not stand those "tourists." Okay, I know, technically one could say that we are tourists as well. I beg to differ! (and I don't usually beg). We never frequented the several McDonald's and ...

    ... out for dinner to another of uncle ricks suggestions but I'm Almost certain it has been shut down. We searched for another and ended up at restaurant nearby that was probably Quite a bit more expensive but it was very good. We had seafood as that is their specialty in Venice. We tried to find some music. The Jazz club did not have jazz, oddly Enough. A man at the bar who overheard me asking if they had music said he hasn't found live music n Venice yet. ...

    ... When we arrived in Milan we caught the train to Milan’s main train station from the airport to get the train to Venice.     ... total of 85,000 sq ft of mosaics. The Rialto Bridge was the only bridge on the a Grand Canal from the time it was built in 1588 until a couple more bridges were built the 1800's. Despite all the old buildings that have been treasured, they didn't have such a great sense of history as they pulled down the home of Marco Polo in the 1800's to build a theatre.
