... and tall peaks and the harbour, in which the ship docked, was formed from a volcanic crater. We took a shuttle bus into the town, a journey of only ten minutes at most. I suppose the best that could be said was that the area could be a Canary island in the making but that it is in the very early stages of development. Our Tour took us in a rickety old bus down rough streets, some cobbled, and up into the mountains. Mount Vert as the name implies a geen mountain .
