    ... in Aldi stores in Australia, usually around late October/early November for the past few years. Anyway, it is a fantastic taste sensation. If you hate ginger biscuits (like me), then these taste nothing like that – much nicer! We also had Stollen, Dampfnudeln, Bratwurst – I’m not stepping on any scales for a while! I’m worried about how much weight I’ve put on, just at the Christmas Markets!

    Well we have now been cycling for about 350km over 6 days and today was somewhat more relaxed for some of us. This particular campground (It Wiid at Eernewoude, or Earnew‚ld in Friesian) is very well set up – the amenities are well presented and very clean, there is a well-stocked shop on-site, there is a plethora of activities for young and old alike, from swimming to sailing, and plenty of space.     Our last day on the ship. It is a day at sea traveling to Kiel, Germany. Most of the day was calm seas, sunny with a cold wind. About 13 degrees. By 5 pm it was foggy and a little choppy. At 9.15pm the Pilot boarded our ship to allow us entry to the Kiel Canal. It is amazing to see the Pilot boat screaming straight at us in the middle of the ocean.
