... a good first day, he knows several of the workmen there, they live in Kartena where he is restoring the house. Tomas rang his father Antanas who lives on a farm at Plauskiniai and we will visit either on Friday or Saturday. And, apparently Henry (Stoncius) lived on a farm at Sidabravas near Panevezys before he came to Australia. The farm photos in the Stoncius book are from here. ... at 10:22, also right on schedule and Tomas was there to meet us & take us back to his apartment. Here we met Monica and Henris for the first time! Well, didn't meet Henris till he woke up, after we had supper with Tomas & Monica. Talked for ages and Tomas brought out lots of photos of his dad, grandmother, great grandmother and other people. We have a few of Lana's relatives to catch up with here, so will see what the next few days ...
