... did not use sulfates in their wine and no filtering. The only ingredients in their wine is the grape juice and yeast for fermenting.
This area of Chile is a hot destination for Americans moving to Chile but not for us, it is too crowed and has the feel of coastal towns in California. It does have some spectacular sunsets though. ...

On Friday, the main excitement was the fútbol game between Chile and Egypt. I got to watch the game with my host family. Egypt scored two goals early in the game, but Chile was able to come back and win 3-2. ¡Chi-Chi-Chi! ¡Le-Le-Le! ¡Viva Chile!

... was a Duo of salmon Ahumado with a palm heart and avocado cream. A lovely dish with large chunks of fresh smoked salmon, both raw and cooked. This was washed down by a very nice Leyda Riesling 2011, our first Chilean Riesling and rapier sharp with great character.

To follow, I chose crab ravioli. These were delicious! Al dente cooked pasta crammed with fresh crab meat in a very creamy sauce. This was matched with a William Cole Pinot ...

... kids pool and standard swimming pool. However a large percentage of it was for boat, canoes and wind surfing in. We had lunch afterwards at a really cool restaurant with a sea aquarium underneath on the lower floor. We opted to sit outside thought as it was a beautiful day and we sat and sip cocktails in the sun. Back to the pool for the last couple of hours and a little sun bathed in this luxury resort as we will not get this again for a while. ...
