... clambered into Nigel and made our way to Strobl where we caught a bus to Salzburg. And Today has been Salzburg day. A very nice looking, clean city with some spectacular churches and buildings, and Never ending references to Mozart - well he was born there!!! We wondered through the narrow streets taking photos and just absorbing the place. It was great. The pictures won't do it justice. At the end of the day we left our mark in Salzburg by having our own ...

Back on the mainland, we decided it was so nice that we would stay for dinner. There was a
festival on at the shoreline with tents and live music so we decided to take in the surroundings with a beer and some BBQ chicken and chips. ... belly since I left Melbourne so that dish definitely hit the spot. I liked the food there so much I ordered a third, much to the horror of my waitor who'd suggested I order 2 dishes only! The third dish was mini-sausages with cabbages and mashed potato, kind of a twist on bangers n' mash. I wanted to lick the plate clean afterwards.

I had a post-concert dinner at the much-acclaimed Afro Cafe the previous night. It felt ...

... waiting to board, a lady holding a small lap dog. Malcolm thought
that she might be bringing the dog with her on the bus, but Karen suggested
that she might just be seeing a friend off. No. The lady got on the bus with
her dog – no problem. The bus driver was happy; the other passengers seemed
happy. What we didn’t see as we looked out the bus window was the dog standing
on the ground next to his master. The dog was standing because he was ...
