    ... went to a pub. I ordered a Berliner Weisser - a beer that is sweetened with fruit flavour & served with a straw. I enjoyed this much more than a regular beer, which is, of course, what Jared had. I had read about the curry wurst, so I went for it.     ... The food was truly Norwegian-style with plenty of fish and vegetables. The least successful dish paired scallops & corned beef - not my favorite, a little too outside the box putting seafood & meat together. The most successful was a tie between the carrots with smoked cheese & pumpkin ice cream with camomile cream. The atmosphere was truly memorable and the service was impeccable

    ... said you could walk around the city (Old Town shopping), but I had done that yesterday. Besides that, she said there really wasn't anything else to do.     Driving from Munich to Salzburg gave us a "taste" of the beauty that awaits us in Bavaria and Switzerland, as we passed numerous small towns nestled in the rolling hills of the lower Tyrolean Alps.     ... through lush green valleys in front of the hills. We returned our rental car at the German border and took a taxi about 8 miles across the border to our hotel in Salzburg. When the taxi showed up to pick us up, Sandy had gone into some stores, so I was going in and out of stores looking for her while the meter was running in the taxi.
