    ... 5 times the pace of the old train! I then took the 2 hour bullet train to Nagoya from Tokyo. Unfortunately I was now about 1 hour 30 mins later than I'd planned but it could have been a lot worse!     Sat next to a guy on the ltd express to Nagoya and he noticed how wet I was and asked "Suzuka"? We laughed a little and tried to have a conversation.     ... and we could have a quick wash before going down to catch the private line to the SCMAGLEV Railway Park.

    To me, this was the best one yet. Not as big as the ones we had seen before and had enough going on in terms of videos and demonstrations. We could experience going on the new MagLev train on a simulator at 500 Km/h. The wheels retract after a few seconds and the train is levitated about 10cm from the tracks.     ... tea, after a little more walking i decide to head back to the hostel, Meet up with a couple of Canadians from Vancouver, and these 2 are absolute beauty's, Robinson and Nick, (ill be meeting up with them a couple more times stay tuned), catch up some people back home and have a few more beers with them, the next morning Robinson gives me a hard time of emptying the beer vending machine but i swear it was running low before i got there.......he still doesn't believe me ...
